2020 has been an unusual and difficult year for many, and we understand that the full repercussions of what we have all been through are still to be felt - but with summer waning and the glory of Autumn still to come, we continue with a healthy amount of discussion on some of our favourite horticultural topics, bringing a little dose of the garden to your daily lives.
Borders, both herbaceous and mixed, are one of the keystones to any garden, and whether on a grand scale such as at Stonelands and East Donyland, or small in the average back garden - renovating every few years is essential to keep them looking at there best, creating a different look as the years go by and experimenting with differing styles and colour combinations. Lucy and Saul take a look at how they approach renovating their borders and why it is the ultimate test for any Head Gardener.
