Show Notes

2020 has been an unusual and difficult year for many, and we understand that the full repercussions of what we have all been through are still to be felt - but with summer now distant and the glory of autumn in full flow, we continue with a healthy amount of discussion on some of our favourite horticultural topics, bringing a little dose of the garden to your daily lives.

Composting is part art, part science but should be an essential part of any serious garden as it helps reduce waste and produces the most wonderful soil improver and potting medium. It is, however, one of those gardening process that can cause both confusion and frustration, as getting the right mix of material in the right environment is not always easy. Head Gardeners Saul and Lucy take a look at several composting methods for the small household garden and try to dispel some of the bafflement that may occur.
