Show Notes

Spring is in the air - as the early season flowers bring a hint of colour and joy, banishing the winter blues away. Head Gardeners such as Lucy and Saul relish this moment in the year as the starting gun for a season of flower, foliage and ultimate fun. Gardening kicks off and all the hard work of winter enters a crescendo of horticultural wonder.

Greenhouses, conservatories, porches and windowsills are brimming with seedlings and cutting at the moment, and these delicate plants prefer things to be in the 'goldilocks' range - not too hot and not too cold. So, fluctuating spring temperatures make life a bit tricky! Saul and Lucy both have large greenhouses on their estates, and more modest ones at home - and they've learnt over the years how to manage them successfully. In this episode, they share what they've gleaned.
