Talking Heads - a Gardening Podcast

Ep. 79 - Many gardeners are aware of the NGS (National Garden Scheme), and Lucy and Saul were lucky enough to attend its online media launch for 2021 last week.

Saul Walker and Lucy Chamberlain Episode 79

2021 has started but much of the troubles of 2020 have continued, and we understand that the full repercussions of what we have all been through are now being felt. But with summer and autumn now distant and the glory of winter around us, we continue with a healthy amount of discussion on some of our favourite horticultural topics, bringing a little dose of the garden to your daily lives.

The National Garden Scheme has raised significant and invaluable funds for a vast number of good causes over the past century, and its ambitions show no signs of slowing down. 2020 saw garden visits dented significantly, so how does the NGS plan to protect its beneficiaries from any future financial insecurity? Saul and Lucy were lucky enough to find out, via their 2021 media launch.
