Talking Heads - a Gardening Podcast
Ep. 104 - On the Talking Heads Podcast Lucy and Saul love talking about the weather, in fact it is a British obsession - but with more weather extremes and changes in seasonality effecting us, how does this change the way we look after our gardens.
Summer is upon us at last! The warmer weather seems much overdue this year, so Lucy and Saul are relieved to at last see the abundance of growth that this season can bring. This explosion requires selective intervention and management, so get ready for lively conversations about how these two experienced Head Gardeners keep calm - and cool - during the garden's peak period.
If there is one thing your guaranteed to be able to talk to any Head Gardener about in the UK - it is the weather - and Lucy and Saul are no different, in fact you may have noticed on the podcast that we're quite obsessed with it. There is good reason as the weather dictates much of our gardening practice and planning. Over the year we've seen many weather extremes and unseasonably strange weather patterns, which if climate change makes them the 'new normal', we may have to look how we manage and tend our green spaces.
